At Mad Gusto, we believe your data belongs to you. DataJoiner is designed with privacy as the default.
Data Handling
DataJoiner processes data directly within your spreadsheet. We do not transmit your spreadsheet data to our servers. All row-matching and value-pasting operations happen inside your Google Workspace™ environment.
Permissions
The add-on requires permission to access your spreadsheets solely to perform the actions you trigger (reading the source sheet and writing to the target sheet).
Payment Information
All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not view, collect, or store your credit card information.
No Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties.
Google User Data Protection & Retention
1. Data Protection Mechanisms
DataJoiner operates as an Editor Add-on within Google Workspace™. All data processing occurs directly within Google's secure infrastructure.

Encryption in Transit: All data transmission between the user's browser and Google's servers is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.

Encryption at Rest: DataJoiner does not store user spreadsheet data on its own servers. Data remains stored within the user's own Google Drive™, protected by Google's encryption standards. License keys and activation status are stored securely in our Firebase database using Google-managed security rules.
2. Data Retention and Deletion

Retention: DataJoiner is a pass-through processing tool. We do not retain, archive, or log the contents of your spreadsheets. Row data is processed ephemerally in the computer memory at the time of execution and is not saved to any external database.

Deletion: Since we do not store your spreadsheet data, there is no user data to delete from our servers. If you wish to remove your license information from our activation database, please contact support@madgusto.com.
